In the menu of my website I had many people supporting the idea of Paul playing a acoustic show. We had many entries but these are not possible to read now, so I have started this subject here for you to again add your thoughts.
I cant wait for the day that Paul announces a Show something like An Evening with Paul Rodgers
Please leave your name with your support here, I will make sure he reads it.

Dear Lucy, dear Paul, it would be an unbelievable event, the ultimate experience, your voice, that can soothe any pain, a guitar, piano, and, yes, harmonica (the only occasion that would top any concert would be at a private party, but I guess IŽd have to consider a bank robbery then). Just to give you a hint of the songs IŽd appreciate the most hereŽs my setlist: Be My Friend, Simple Man, Soldier Boy, Muddy Water Blues, The Stealer, Heavy Load, Woman, Heartbreaker, Oh I Wept, Do Right By Your Woman, Love You So, Molten Gold, DonŽt Say You Love Me, Soon I Will Be Gone, Wild Fire Woman, Live For The Music, Merchants Of Cool. Whenever times get tough and nervewrecking unforseen things happen, I know only one remedy, your voice and your songs to bring back some peace of mind. Give my best regards to your lovely lady Cynthia, lots of love Ingrid

An acoustic show with Paul would be a dream come true. ...a threadbare band....drums, bass, acoustic guitars, piano and that incredible magical voice. If you've ever heard him sing Hoochie Coochie Man, Hey Joe, Muddy Water Blues and even All Right Now acoustically, you know it doesn't matter what he sings. My set list, though, would be all blues with the odd Free tune thrown in.
Paul please make it happen!

Julie: Simply would love to see Paul Rodgers (Best rock voice in the business!)back in the UK, as I missed him in Bristol, last year and to my shame have yet to see,my ULTIMATE MUSIC HERO live, and I NEED to realise my ambition, as I love the man,who kicked off my love of rock music with All Right Now. -Paul! -you are so loved in Britain!-come back soon-Julie No Rating
Ray Westbury: I believe this is long overdue. Bill bad an intresting idea with all the old Free songs (Sunny day etc). Why not ask the fans to vote on a set list Paul. That way when they come to see you they will hear all their favourites!! ps Playing the smaler venues in the UK would be more intimate & better. No Rating
Brendan: Without a doubt. It would be a once in a lifetime event. The song selection would be intresting to see.
Nick: I would love to see Paul at his best. I think acoustic would be great, but I have to admit, I like to rock and roll too! I'm sure he feels the same!

I rather like the idea of Paul doing a 'Storyteller' performance.....songs and stories about his life and music!!! There's a vast wealth of material to choose from not only his original material but there's also the many 'covers' he has done! And for God's sake give Simon a call and have him back you up!!! It would make for a brilliant dvd/cd release!!!!

Anyone who saw Paul singing an acoustic version of "house of the rising sun" during the 90's tour when he sat on a stool with Steve Lukather playing the acoustic guitar will never forget it. That format allows the listener to really appreciate the tone and quality that is in Paul's voice now it has matured. So the greatest voice there has ever been is getting better! An acoustic album is a must, the world needs it for future generations to hear and aspire to.

Dear Paul & Lucy,
Something like VH1 Storytellers would be the ultimate in my opinion. When I hear Paul sing "Seagull' on acoustic guitar it gives me chills, so hearing lots of other songs would be like a dream of a lifetime! I think this is a absolutely WONDERFUL idea. I'll even volunteer my house for the occasion!
Please Paul, consider this idea. I think its something you AND your fans would love!!!
Regards to everyone in your fantastic organization! Sally

Lucy, Paul has been so selfless with his true fan base that I find it hard to request anything from him. I'm lucky to have grown up during the years when he has created so much wonderful music and shared it with all of us. I would support anything that Paul does, and certainly an acoustic show would be another amazing way to enjoy his awesome voice. We are all so lucky to have his music in our lives! Thank you for all you do for the fans Lucy, and true heartfelt thanks to Paul for enriching my life. Debra

Unplug Paul, absolutely! All we need is that voice. I love the suggested set list, and would add - Dock of the Bay! Would be the best concert every and do I heard CD/DVD? Let's do it! xoxo Tammy

I fully endorse Lucy's all-acoustic concept!
For two reasons -- (1) Paul's voice would be front 'n center. (2) Paul's guitar prowess has been much underestimated.
I recall the days of the FREE break-up, reunion, and final break-up, when Paul had to play the lead guitar riffs because Koss was so sick. In Japan.
Paul has refined his guitar chops -- subtly -- over the years.
So, an all-acoustic tour would be fantastic.
My ultimate vision for Paul Rodgers is that in a few more years he might consider doing a Frank Sinatra cover album -- kinda like what Brian Ferry just released with "Dylanesque."
I see Paul as a kind of rock Tony Bennett as he ages...
The hard part of this thesis is that Paul does not seem to age...
His voice is better now than when I first saw FREE in 1970.
Scientists should be studying this guy, because his mojo is serious!

PS --
Based on her set list alone, I think I'm in luv with Ingrid.
That girl really knows where Paul's roots come from.
Anyone who appreciates "Molten Gold" has been there for the entire journey....
Still, I'd have to add just one more gem --- an acoustic version of "Little Wing."
A plane ticket to Down Under is not out of the question! ;-)
